The Ice Maiden: The Ice Maiden

The Ice Maiden: The Ice MaidenThe ice maiden sat upon her mountain looking down at all the people. There were people in the towns and there were people underground building tunnels. They were like worms to her. She was angry. She sang and it sounded like an avalanche. People were down in the valley below, they happened to be Rudy and Babette, along with the miller who were going to visit Babette’s godmother. Babette worried about the avalanche but Rudy told her it would not get them. They were two bodies and one heart.

The ice maiden doesn’t sound like a very nice person.

Rudy and Babette believe they can do anything as long as they’re together. It’s a nice sentiment. Togetherness and teamwork can conquer a lot. Love conquers as much as you give it power to conquer. If you put everything behind it, it’s unstoppable, but as soon as you let a little bit of something else in, it’s strength starts to fade.

Will Rudy and Babette be together?

Weigh In

What do you think got the ice maiden so angry?

Do you think there is more to the ice maiden than meets the eye, or is she just angry?
